Lewandowski breaks personal record for Bundesliga goals in a season
The Polish striker of Bayern Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick in the match against Stuttgart in the 26th round of the Bundesliga and helped the team defeat the opponent with a score of 4:0.
Lewandowski brings his 2020/21 Bundesliga goals to 35. This is not only a personal record for the Polish striker – he became only the second player in the German championship to score 35 goals in one season.
Only one player scored more in a season – Gerd Müller. And he did it three times. Muller scored 40 goals in the 1971/72 season, 38 in the 1969/70 season, 36 in the 1972/73 season.
